Al seu torn\, el protagonista escriu una novel·la que pretén que siga d’amor lèsbic. Tanmateix\, la dedicació d’ambdues protagonistes al món de la llengua acaba convertint l’obra en una sèrie d’esbossos\, fragments d’una novel·la sobre literatura i l’ofici d’escriure.
