Bengt Homstrom (MIT) i Oliver Hart (Universitat de Harvard) han rebut el premi Nobel d’Economia  2016 per les seues aportacions al disseny de contractes per a resoldre aquest tipus de situacions.  Gonzalo Olcina Vauteren\, professor titular de la Universitat de València i Màster per la  London Shool of Economics\, és especialista en teoria de jocs\, incentius i contractes i economia del comportament.
