En un moment de la festa tots vam riure amb estrèpit i entre llàgrimes. El dibuix molecular d’una llàgrima de rialla —diuen— no coincideix amb el dibuix que llisca per una de tristesa. Però ningú no pot veure-hi tan endins i vaig passar de contraban el dol. L’esperaré cent anys\, la llàgrima que em delati (fins al dos mil cent disset no tornarà a produir-se la gota negra de Venus en el trànsit pel sol).  (Pagès Editors)
