DESCRIPTION:Diumenge 8 de febrer\, a les 19.00h:  Dayna Stephens Quartet  \n  \n  \n\nAcaba de complir els 30 i el seu currículum és ja impressionant\, perquè ha acompanyat artistes de la talla d’Herbie Hancock\, Carlos Santana\, Stevie Wonder\, Quincy Jones\, Chick corea o Steve Coleman. Tots han vist en aquest jove saxofonista\, natural de Nova York\, però criat musicalment en la Costa Oest\, una fera del saxo tenor\, un solista vigorós de to càlid i un compositor i arranjador de gran creativitat. Des que es va graduar en el Monk Institute el 2003\, Stephens ha distribuït el seu temps entre l’àrea de la badia de San Francisco i l’escena novaiorquesa i les seus gires pel món. En el seu primer treball\, “The Timeless Now”\, que ha pujat com l’escuma als primers llocs de les llistes Billboard i Jazz Week\, ha comptat amb la col·laboració\, entre altres\, d’Eric Harland o John Scofield.
